The University of Antwerp is a large organisation with robust, organisation-wide systems. However, the team lacked focus and agility to switch quickly and independently for specific student recruitment needs. Therefore, Hippocampus was brought in as a specialised complement, solely focused on recruitment activities alongside the existing infrastructure.

"It is now much easier to report to everyone involved in student recruitment. It's more organised and simpler to distribute per course and faculty. They can now consult that data autonomously in an accessible way."

— Ewaut van Gerreway, Marketing Strategist, University of Antwerp

Get started immediately, without barriers.

What immediately stood out was the ease of use, without a lengthy implementation process or expensive training. Hippocampus is intuitive enough for everyone to use without intensive onboarding. This makes it perfectly suited for decentralised use: faculties and courses can start using it independently, with their own roles and permissions. It is a great advantage that Hippocampus offers an unlimited number of licences and users. Everyone involved in recruitment can actually gain access, without extra costs.

Reporting without intervention.

One of the greatest improvements is the reporting. It is now much easier to share insights with all involved colleagues. Reports are organised and can be easily distributed by course or faculty. Colleagues now consult their data autonomously, without needing to ask questions about the number of registrations for a specific activity. This saves time and gives the team more space.

Less frustration, more work enjoyment.

The added value of Hippocampus lies not only in the overview but also in what the team experiences daily: better performance, an intuitive interface, and functionalities we previously didn’t have. The Marketing Strategist now independently segments target groups and adjusts ad-hoc campaigns. The result is a team that works faster, more independently, and with greater confidence.

Proven satisfaction.

For the prospective student, little changes in the form, and that is precisely the intention. What does stand out: after every activity, UA evaluates satisfaction with the registration process. It consistently scores around 90%. A result that speaks volumes.

From generic to targeted: thanks to powerful segmentation tools, budgets are deployed more effectively.

From management to autonomy: reporting per course or faculty, without the intervention of a central team.

From complex to accessible: no expensive implementation or training, new users step in immediately with their own rights and roles.

From system to ecosystem: standalone or seamlessly integrated alongside existing platforms.
