Sensitive privacy data, or personal data, is processed for the use of our services and via the websites www.summit.nl and www.hippocampus.eu. Summit Registration & Services B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “Summit”) considers careful handling of personal data of utmost importance. Personal data is therefore processed and secured carefully by us.

While using our services and our website, we obtain certain data from you. This may include personal data. We only store and use the personal data you provide directly in the context of the service you requested, or which is clearly provided to us for processing. We use your data, for instance, when you visit our website, create an account, use our services, or contact us.

Additionally, we collect your IP address, the browser used, the operating system used, your language settings, and the pages (on our website) shown to you. Registration
For certain parts of our services, you must first register and create an account. After registration, we store the username you have chosen and the personal data you provide. We keep these data to save you from re-entering them each time and so that we can contact you in the context of executing the agreement. We store your data as long as you have an account with us. To delete your account, see the section ‘Delete account’ further in this statement.
We will not provide the data linked to your username to third parties unless this is necessary in the context of executing the agreement you conclude with us or if legally obligated. In the case of suspected fraud or misuse of our services, we may hand over personal data to the competent authorities.
Access to portal and dashboard
Our portal offers you access to a management environment where you can set, specify, and change things yourself. To grant you access, we need your personal data.
Delete account
You can terminate and (authorize the) deletion of your account via the functions designated for this purpose in your management environment or by sending us a request via email. We will process your request as quickly as possible and delete your account no later than one month. Certain data, such as payment details (if applicable), may need to be retained for a longer period. For instance, the tax authorities maintain a legal retention period of seven years.
Processing consultation request
When you request a consultation with us, we use your personal data to process it. If necessary for proper processing, we can also provide your personal data to third parties. More about this can be found further in this privacy statement.
Contact form and newsletter
Through our website, we offer the possibility to ask questions via a contact form, where you are asked to fill in various data to handle your question. You decide which data you provide. The data you send to us is stored as long as the nature of the form or the content of your email requires it for complete answering and processing.
We offer a newsletter designed to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Each newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe. Your email address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit consent. If you are already a customer with us, it is possible you receive the newsletter without your explicit consent. However, you can indicate beforehand that you do not wish this (opt-out).

Our website may display advertisements from third parties, which keep personal data to tailor them.
Provision to third parties
We may pass your data on to our partners. These partners are involved in the execution of the agreement. Social media buttons are included on our website. The administrators of these services collect your personal data with them.

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. We recommend regularly consulting this privacy statement so that you are aware of these changes.
Inspection, correction and deletion of your data
For questions about our privacy policy or questions regarding inspection, modification, or deletion of your personal data, you can contact us via the contact details at the bottom of this page.
You can also send us a request to inspect, modify, or delete your personal data. Furthermore, you can submit a request for a data export for data we use with your consent or that is processed in the context of an agreement with us, or indicate motivated why you want us to restrict the processing of personal data. We will respond to such a request as soon as possible, but at the latest within one month. For complex requests, we will inform you within one month and respond no later than two months thereafter.
